IDEA - Computer + Toaster

Is it possible to make a computer/toaster? Just for fun?

*Think* Your mornings would never be the same way again when your waffle pops out from your optical drive bay toaster thing.

Ummm... Probably? A toaster isn't that high tech, that being said however, imagine the heat going into your actual PC... Unless you want to toast that too lol.

A 9590 being run off the same PSU as a 295X2 should do it, although that could quickly turn into a grill.

As long as the rest of the PC has some ungodly cooling, hook up an ardunio uno to control the heat coils and timing and go for it.

There was a video of someone who tried on a 480 but they proved that it wouldn't actually work

Well first you will need a AMD 9590

and probably one or two of the powercolor dual core 390s :P

But to be serious it seems like an all round bad idea as the heat from the toaster would be dumped into the pc and i highly doubt you'll be able to find any 5.25 inch bay toasters,

CPU: i5 6600k OCed to 4.5Ghz @ 1.35v, GPU: R9 390 Nitro, Motherboard: Asus z170-A, CPU Cooler: H100i GTX, RAM: HyperX 2x8 16gb DDR4, PSU: Seasonic x650, Storage: 850 EVO 500gb, WD 1tb blue, Case: H440 White/Black

Also check with your local furniture store, because A10 laptops and a very soft memory foam bed is going to be a round winning match!

You're way too late - someone already beat you to it and installed the Linux kernel on a toaster...

I say liquid cool a few 290's or gtx 480's on like a tiny radiator to get the water temperature as high as possible. You might cook your hardware, but at least you'll have toast :D
