What Are Your Computers' Names?

Dash Lambda

Or, alternatively, your naming conventions.

All my rigs are named after AI. I currently have two active machines, my desktop is named GLaDOS and my laptop is Cortana.

I name them after the case... 230T, CM690, etc.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I'm using some sorta of sciency naming sceme, my old laptop is called hydrogen because it all started with my laptop, my phone is called helium because it's light and always goes with me, my desktop is called elemental since it can fulfil any task needed.

Someone once said: "Having a rollercoaster on a PC would be epic"

So threw a rollercoaster on my K'nex PC: Project Dragon Khan- K'nex rollercoaster PC build

All of my PC's have been named after a color ranking system. Like my favorite color is blue so my best PC is named blue. Its then followed by purple then green.

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.

I named mine BLACKSTAR, partly because of David Bowie, and partly because of someone else who died, and is close to me.

I was gonna name it Kusanagi (because Ghost in the Shell is awesome), but because of things, BLACKSTAR stuck.

My domain is the Fluff_Domain so each computer is named accordingly; Fluff_Master, Fluff_Backup, Fluff_Gaming. Fluff_HardcorePr0n_Drive.

Kay that last one was a lie ;3 but still that's how I've named my setup, along with the Fluff_Cave WiFi connection.

Call me paranoid but revealing that is another way to link an IP/System to, in this case, forum user. The things you can find out with cross referencing...
