Well... I didn't want to put Luke in a spotlight... I'd just love to see what magnificent creatures his seed is able to produce!

Not having kids is a choice a lot of people make, myself included. It's not abnormal or anything.

A super easy answer to the question is that Luke simply doesn't want to have kids. I'm in the same boat as him but I might have different reasons for not wanting kids.
