This case has been around for a few months now, but only became readily available to consumers very recently. How does this little beast perform?

PCs are getting smaller and smaller...

one day we will be able to build desktop computers and put them in our pockets (no I do NOT mean phones you can't build a phone)

You soon will be able to though.

I'd still take the node 605 over this.

That's a full tower though. I think these really SFF cases are for those that can't spare the space.

That case looks really neat and looks just like a console!

HP Pavilion p007tx (i5 4210u, gt840m, 8GB DDR3 memory and a 1 TB HDD that makes cool sounds when booting up)

Since my laptop can't run modern games too well I use a PS4

I would have liked to see some thermal readings after running a game/benchmark.

The slim design is nice but if it can't allow enough fresh air in to keep a CPU with a stock cooler and a blower style GPU from overheating then the thing is useless.

i'm genuinely planning a build in this case!

i'm going to be deploying to Afghanistan later this summer and instead of buying a new awesome gaming laptop like i did for my last deployment, i'm going to do a build in this case and get a small monitor to go with it. i'm going for portability while still being able to upgrade in the future, unlike a gaming laptop.

Windows 10 | AMD FX-8350 @4.6GHz | BeQuiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 | 16Gb G.Skill DDR3 1866 | MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 4Gb | Samsung 840 EVO 250Gb | Corsair HX750 | NZXT Source 530 case | Logitech G710+ keyboard | Logitech G500s mouse | Saitek X52 Joystick and Throttle | Saitek ProFlight Rudder Pedals | TrackIR

The fan filters requiring just about completely disassembling the entire case is a complete deal breaker for me.  Still very happy with my Silverstone FTZ01 (Fortress variant of the RVZ01).

If only smaller-than-ATX boards were available for the CPU I'm about to mention ... I wonder how well Linus or Luke could passively cool an FX 9590 CPU, R9 390X2 GPU, Samsung 950 PRO M.2 SSD, and 32GB DDR3-3200 Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM in this case? :)  They need to be overclocked as much, percentage-wise, as they'd OC a Q6600 or an i5-2500K with a Corsair H110i GTX. :)  Or is there an Intel/NVidia solution that would fit in that case and get higher performance (similar to two E5-2699 v3's and 4-way SLI Quadro M6000's), lower temps (like 1°F over ambient under a load similar to running newest-version Prime95 small FFT on a Haswell or newer CPU), be silent (as loud as a heatsink), etc? :)

That's what I like about it, it'll look nice on a entertainment center, and you can built a great couch gaming PC.
