Isn't like 40% of current internet traffic Netflix though?

Where Netflix is a real thing , maybe, but I doubt it.

Anyway , it's the fault of the devs. They should clear the memory they are given. Yes, it's also partly the fault of Nvidia because that's how their drivers work , but , in the end , the devs are to blame.

nevermind, I discovered he's using MAC OSX 10.8.5

he filled a bug report with google: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=477328

furthermore, he states that:

Dedicated AMD or NVIDIA cards only - this doesn't happen on intel graphics

whatever he experienced, looks like a memory leak in the WebGL API

How common is this? Seems like it's a one in a million for this to ever happen. I'm assuming this wasn't recently introduced in the driver yet I've never heard of it till now despite the millions of people using computers with dGPUs.
