Cooler Master Debuts New High-End MasterWatt series PSUs

At CES 2016, Cooler Master debuted their new "MasterWatt" series, leading headfirst with 1200W and 1500W units. A simple look at the interior already portrays super solid build quality.

MasterWatt1_w_600.png

The two units shown here are fully modular, feature digital control like many of it's competitors offerings from the likes of Corsair and EVGA, and feature super silent Cooler Master Silencio FP fans.

The unit demonstrates Titanium efficiency to keep wasted power down and will be pair-able with Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile devices through Cooler Master's "Cooler Master Connect" application. A desktop option will also be available.

These units are manufactured by the well-regarded Enhance Electronics and, if the price is right, should compete well against the likes of Corsair's AXi and EVGA's P2 and T2 series.

It's unknown at this time if lesser capacity units will be released. Currently the set release date for these is quarter 1 of this year.

Did I mention they look super sexy?

I wonder what the next tier of 80+ will be called...

80+ superconductor

Proprietary modular cables?

all modular cables are proprietary, some connectors just happen to be same because OEM's don't give a fuck

There's unlikely to be one. We're already so close to 100% efficiency (not technically possible) that I don't think we'll likely see a new tier. If we do it'll likely be called 80 PLUS Diamond or some rare-earth mineral/material like that.

Their fan series seems to be pushing entirely toward Silencio.  Which I am okay with.
