Whats a fun project to do with the stock Intel heatsync? I have a spare one...

Make it into a desk ornament! engrave intel logo on the top and put a blue LED in it!

Start a stock heatsink collection. Mount them on your wall to show your achievement.

I took the fan on the stock heatsink and use it as a SSD cooler haha... Put the heatsink on top of a HDD, not efficient but better than nothing lol...

I just keep mine on my desk to throw at people when they come in, and bug me when I'm busy.

Kept it as a backup just in case but it stays on the parts shelf in my closet.

Take the thermal paste off and have it for a small snack whilst building the rig. Melt down the metal to form a block which I then sell. The plastic recycled.
