Today I got double-time-and-a-half at work... as well as yesterday, and I think all of next week.

My son gave me a Captain Picard bobble head because he knows I'm hardcore about my Star Trek. What a good son.

I gave him a bunch of video games, an Intuos Art tablet, a whole lot of money in prepaid plastic, and a wireless 360 controller adapter for Windows. My mom bought him Fallout 4... he has been playing, literally, all day.

I got $100 which I used in tandem with my money to get myself a nice Samsung 29" Curved Ultrawide :D I'm loving it so far.

Because we're not rich people like pretty much everyone else, I got a bunch of clothes, a pair of sun glasses and some shower stuff. I'm also getting a new phone, probably for $150. The most money I've ever had spent on myself was $750, my laptop as well as some other stuff. This time it was probably no more than $250 on me. It's really not an issue because regardless, Christmas is fun.

My wife got me a Dremel 8220, Dremel workstation and a Dremel Flex shaft, all this will come in handy for my next PC build project, Ill be starting in a couple of month's :D

I was really happy with my xmas presents.

I got a massive 900x420mm mouse pad (hyper x brand), a cherry brown k70 RGB, and a bunch of alcohol.

That being said, I spent that much on other peoples xmas presents so in a way, it's like buying it yourself.

 

A 3D printer was on my xmas list but it was sort of a joke since I knew I wouldn't get one.

I got a new TV. A Vizio D39h-C0. It's a 39" LED Backlit 720p LCD. I specifically asked for a 720p TV because I own more games for my PS3 than any other console. Most PS3 games (at least the ones I own) only run in 720p. When I get a new place to live with more room, I'll get a bigger 1080p TV for the PS4. Either way, the new one is a pretty decent upgrade from my old Sony Bravia 32" CCFL LCD.

Now I just need to find me a late Sony flat-tube 32" CRT to replace my Sanyo 27" CRT.

 

I also got a 1:32 scale die-cast German Elefant tank killer model, a hoodie, a new electric razor, and some money.

Nope. I have never recived a birthday present. Most people that I know in real life don't even know when my birthday is. 

The only reason I remember it, is because my birthdate is part of my social security number.

My parents are of the school of tough love. if I wanted something I had to earn it. Being born is not enough to earn you anything. 

 

It is? I suppose my month and day are in there but I didn't recognize that until now.
