That is very fast, it is 2 gigbyte. They probably will speed up their other plans. I bought blast plan when it was 50mbps now its 175.

if google or even fios would expand more it could force comcast to lower prices but that will not happen till they don't  have to. I think $150 for a 2 gig connection is fair at this point and lower is always better but they will not drop price when they have no one to challenge...

2 gigabit*. Not byte. It would be 250 megabytes. Since 2000/8=250. Still, very fast.

2 gigabit. Still insane compared to Google's gigabit pricing.

For $300/month? I don't think so.

I used to be quite active here.

nothing has been said and they just raised their blast from 50 to 150 so I don't think they will make any other changes this year but never say never...

so much whining in one thread if you cant afford it then its not for you. Comcast doesnt pull fuber out of their behinds let alone the cost of trenching plus upgrades to data centres thats dirt cheap. where i am from 1gbps uncapped unshaped, uncontended ftth is 6000 dollars and you also need to be 800m from a dark fibre line. A 100 mbps symmetrical fibre cost 400 dollars. I always facepalm when americans complain about prices as i have said if you cant afford it then its not for you its like saying koenigseg is overpriced.

No it's not ffs. GB means 1000 MB, GiB means 1024 MiB. Gigabytes(GB) are not the same as gibibytes(GiB), megabytes(MB) are not the same as mibibytes(MiB), and so on.

inb4 bottlenecks on networking equipment of people that buy it.

I'd assume most people willing to spend $300/mo for internet would already have a pretty impressive network setup. They'd probably only need a new router. Though the fact that in their promotional material they're talking about WiFi is a bit weird......
