No, that PSU will be just fine with it.

Chances are the parts use around 300 watts.

you have to keep in mind that there will be capacitor aging running the psu close to 100% for a long period of time can damage it

I was trying to find a nice 500W semi at a bit higher price, but looks like the best I could do is 550. The extra $15 will hopefully be worth it, although I didn't want to buy more wattage than I needed.

Minimum for what? a 390X? That I'd agree with but a 380 barely draws 180W.....

Were it a cheapo PSU I'd say it's not fine but the SeaSonic S12G/G-series are among the best.
