Aa lot better went the entirely different route here

I'm finally trying to budget for my first PC for gaming and editing and this is what I have picked out right now.

Ryzen 5600X with included cooler

Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard

Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan X 32 GB(2x16) DDR4 3600 CL-18 Memory

Crucial P3 1TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 Solid State Drive

Corsair 4000D Airflow Mid Tower ATX Case

Corsair 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB Elite 3 Pack 120mm Fans

I already have a RADEON RX6500XT GPU (I know I could get better, but I got this a year ago and prices for GPU's were still kind of bad)

I want to be able to play a little bit of everything, preferably over 60hz. The total on PC Part Picker is about $680.94 which is fantastic for me because I don't have a lot to spend. I just want to know if everything should be compatible with each other and especially with the motherboard. I have done a couple builds for other people but I just don't fully know for me because the builds I've done were with Intel CPU's. I would love the help!

What is your max budget?

680 for that without the gpu cost is a lot

You can get a 5700x3d for that price which is EXTREMELY.better

I came looking for some help with something very similar to this...

From South Africa (tech is super expensive) I have the budget for a modest gaming setup but I haven't had a gaming PC in 15+ years so am completley lost around what is good or not.

I found this pre-built PC that fits my budget but I am not sure if it meets my 2 basic requirements:

1. Future upgrades should be possible (GPU,RAM etc)

2. Reasonable performance for what I am paying.

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core 3.7 GHz AM4 CPU

MSI B550M-A PRO AM4 ATX Motherboard

8GB Ballistix RGB DDR4 3200MHz Desktop Gaming Memory x2

MSI GeForce GTX1650 D6 Ventus XS OCV1 4GB Graphics Card

Crucial P2 500GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD

Antec VP500PC 500W ATX Non-modular PSU

Sorry for highjacking the thread 😕 but I really am stuck with this.

Nah don't get a 1650 it's crap, try to get at least a RX6600 or RX5700XT (used)

I agree with @ulookuglynoob the PSU is sketchy, rather get a 600W+ Corsair, even an old CX
