FFS why can't people learn basic car control before they come online, there where idiot spinning out on long straights.

 

Little tip if you go online as a newbie turn the diff down to 10% on most cars, it will save you oversteering off every other corner LOL..

 

To be fair some of the bad driving is funny, but it wears a bit thin when you get shunted from behind every other race because they don't know what the break pedal is for,

true, and "gamers" who think Forza Horizon is a Sim and thing the can drive in the same manner as they do on FH... They are a mobile chicane at best a wreck waiting to happen most of them time.

yeah, the forza physics are good for the retarded shit you can do in the game ... but they suck if you compare to Assetto corsa or Project Cars 2 ... or any other serious racing game/sim

Release 4 feels like a different game entirely

 

 

If anything the UIX changes and optimized loading times are a big update. As far as the new content, the 488 feels slightly more agile than the M6 but a bit sluggish out of corners. The interior is a lot better detailed so its become my go-to for places I'd rather be. Hungauroring isn't my favourite track (lie: I really like sector 1, but thats about it) and I'm so tempted to drive it like a Formula 1 car coming from f1 2015.

Really would like a bit of help..

 

Running a Single screen setup at the moment a Sony X85C 4K 55inch with my N1 Rseat, Fanatec Clubsport setup.

 

I really don´t know if i should exchange the 1x55" with 3x40inch 1920x1080 panels, or go VR, i tried the HTC VIVE and the VIVE PRO, and the VIVE is simply to blurry for me, but it seems the PRO demands so much of you´re pc when running sims, have anyone had any luck with that, and what are you´re specs.

8700k / 16 gb ram / 1080TI Asus OC so it is a decent rig, and runs everything above 60fps in 4k.

Seconded the VR. Going between that and a high refresh monitor, its a lot harder to be fast in 2D. You just dont have the sense of where to place the car as accurately.

Threw on the Explorer for a few hotlaps. Still have a bit of a gangster lean because Im exhausted.

 

The 488 is so much fun. The hotfix changes to what I assume was tire flex made it much more driveable and of the cars so far, this is the one where I can push the hardest right out of the pits. Easy to recover if it starts to go awry and seems to have an edge in braking over the bimmer.

 

But really release 4 = no more instant death if you hit a kerb.

So as ive not tried ACC for a while I thought I should give it a shot as some new cars and tracks have come out. Im seriously impressed, back when i tried the huracan when it first came out I was quite annoyed with how it would go from 0 to 100 in oh shit factor causing you to spin out very suddenly and unexpectedly with zero chance of recovery, that factor is sorta there still however its a lot more clearly defined as to why that happened and now you can quite consistently recreate those spin outs or boundary cases which makes it a lot easier to understand the limits of the cars, I still find the huracan by far the most skittish which to my understanding is a reflection of reality based on how much the real drivers seem to complain about it. Even with their complaints though it is very fast, to me its one of those cars which you think you are doing bad in because you dont always get a smooth run but then you check the laptimes and you are killing it. 

 

On the other hand is the 488, man its just so easy to do everything, if there was a difficulty level with the cars I'd place this as easiest so far and holy crap the sounds. 

 

Now I've listened to thousands of hours of samples hundreds of which the public will never see, it is to the point where I can identify the samples used in game. 

 

There is two trains of thought when it comes to car sounds in games, there is sound realistic and then there is trying to sound cool. 

 

ACC nailed both and I'd say they have done it best meaning yes better then Raceroom, it least on the interior, in the case cam it's still done via algorithm. While GT Sport's explosive backfire is done badly its still vastly better then what everyone else has done off the throttle however ACC is the first game to get the tranny correct off the throttle. 

 

I'm sure some of you are surprised I'd rate it higher then raceroom but the issue raceroom has is first unnecessary sound and going too far with asset sharing especially the turbo.

 

Im not sure about the bentley yet though, ive not really driven it much in either title and I haven't heard many samples of it yet since I don't like it at all but I have a feeling that RR and ACC will be trading blows in terms of who has done the sounds better and I think everyone benefits this way. RR now has some proper sound based competition but its not really a case of asking them to do better, that is a very hard thing to do at this point, both titles are extremely close to the real versions at this point so now the winner is going to be based on one of them either making a mistake or coming down to the ear of the beholder(sounded better in my head).
