GT Sport isnt even my game of choice, but time on a wheel sure helps!

 

 

 

911 RSR Gr.3 at Tsukuba, accelerated tire and fuel wear. We were nowhere on pace, with mid 55s being nowhere close to the low 54s in our group. Made a strategy call to go lean on fuel to do two long stints (fairly slow laps in the 58-59s) in the final and then I hopped in for the last stint to bring it home. No real mistakes, just kept calm and went low TC and a rich map to make the gap. We went from dead last to P3 when I got in and stayed there until the last few laps. Leader had to make a splash and came out ahead of me; I didnt have the pace to fight, so I let them battle it out. P2 ended up punting P1 into the gravel on the penultimate corner and I snuck through to P2.

 

But its not over yet, because I ran out of gas right at the end of the straight! Downshifted one and coasted to the line, which thankfully is on a short straight at TS2000.

 

Not truly relative on a gamepad, but close enough in AC,

I know I'm late to the party, but Sol is pretty amazing. Also dug out an old favourite of mine... the FLM09 is so underappreciated for what it can do.

A mistake was made including the 595SS because I was thinking it was the newer car, not the one from the 60s.

 

Big mistake.

 

As good as the track is the AI do tend to brake funny into some corners, but its good fun.

So much great, close racing this season with PRD and the Group A cars in PCars 2. :) This was crossing the line at Algarve to take 2nd by 1/2 a car length after battling side by side for the last two laps.
