I created this thread for uni students to discuss about studies, projects, personal life, and most importantly financial problems!

I will start with my stuff!

I live in my parents' house (coz uni is very near -10 miles) and I am a bit above average in studies and projects but my monthly allowance doesn't allow for any extra expenditures (I use my phone for everything - assignments to projects). My craptop kicked the bucket before uni started soooo...Yeah. I have a car as a grad gift (nothing fancy a vw polo). I barely manage my financial stuff! I can't get a job coz I leave for uni at 7am and I'm back at 10pm! Then I have to work on projects and assignments! Buuutt I'm having a nice time even though I'm forever alone! These are my experiences, please share yours down below! :)

Well, here goes.

I'm 27 years old and next week I will begin my 3rd year of studying law at the University of Copenhagen.

I live in my own house with my wife and daughter. I don't drive a car, but I do drive my motorcycle as much as I can. Although, I don't drive to school, since it's withing walking distance.

I have held various jobs throughout my life, but currently I work as a paid intern at a law firm and I run one man networking business. My wife works as a construction engineer.

While we aren't rich in any sense of the word, we get by pretty well.

And university is free in Denmark (you actually get paid to go to school, if you have little to no income), so that helps with finances.

Nice! I'm 18 so I got into uni immediately after my 12th grade so I never had a job.

Financial problems: Mostly non, I'm on a scholarship! :D I pay rent for my apartment and bills, I get food really cheap (like 30e/month) at the student restaurant. And I'm going to a dorm next year because it's much cheaper than living in an apartment. Uni is 60km away, so I have to live there

Allowance: Not that big, I work a lot in my free time, managed to replace a dead laptop with a new one that's not bad at all. I got a new phone, although my budget is a lot smaller than what it used to be, I'm still doing ok. Can't really complain, I have a good desktop, decent laptop, car, phone etc. :)

Uni grades/work: Well, I'm the type that invests the minimum effort possible, that's why my grades aren't that high, but I passed all my exams until now long before the deadlines. So, right now, while everyone is studying, I'm working in order to get some stuff I wanted.

Relationships: Oh, that's the part I really suck at, I haven't been able to keep even one girlfriend for over a month because I'm like a friend of mine and each girl I'm with I ruin things because I want her... So yeah, that's kinda depressing.

Depends on the days, sometimes it's 8AM to 5PM, some days it's 8AM to 1PM. There have also been days that it goes from 8AM to 7PM and so on.

Honestly, the only reason I managed is that I pile up work on weekends or when I had practical exams 2 days I would go to them and work the rest of the day. :D

Yup, forever alone squad, but I'm thinking things might change when I go to the dorm! :D

Going back to the same place i done a Level 3 Extended Diploma at to do a Foundation Degree in Computing.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. I've developed the itch to go back and get my masters, but not quite sure what exactly I want to get my masters in lol.

May do international politics, and try to also get my MBA.  My work will provide tuition assistance for the MBA since I can leverage it as work related. Same goes for criminal justice since I am a background investigator.

Applying to colleges very soon...

Planning to study Aerospace Engineering

Some advice, car guy to car guy; dont do aerospace, do mechanical. A mechanical engineer can almost always do an aerospace engineers job, but the reverse is not true. Start with a broad degree, and specialize in the area that interests you the most.

Take it for what you will.
