Spent my money on a G502, and saving up for a old C2Q build.

Doubt buying a mech board anytime soon.

I have a G710+ which has brown switches. It comes with O-Rings included, but I removed them because I prefer the feel without them. I also want to buy a keyboard with clears, but there doesn't seem to be any full keyboard with clears for a reasonable price.

I have a Corsair K70 with Red switches but I spilt Mountain Dew on it (I'm serious) so the keys are all sticky and grindy feeling and I've tried everything to clean the switches but they're still sticky so this Christmas I'm probably going to upgrade to a K70 RGB. I don't know what switches to get but I'm thinking of getting Blues.

K95. MX Reds

The design of the Corsair keyboards are nice, but there are some parts with them that I don't like.

 

Example with the K95. The piece where the macro keys are have a plastic backing, instead of the aluminium for what's on the main area of the board. And somehow the keys felt so much different than my Ducky keyboards (comparing Brown's to Brown's).

 

But I don't know, that's just my own short experience I've had with my brother's keyboard.

Wow. I never noticed that the macro part had plastic on it. Mostly because i've never used them (Dropped a cup of coffee on the thing in the first week and they've been dead ever since)

 

Can't speak for other keyboards but i enjoy the typing experience. Moving on to a dasKeyboards after this i think. if i can find one with reds.

 

The dead led's are my main issue. And it recently started duplicating letters..

K30 one of the best rubber dome keyboards. I will get a K65 RGB soon.. maybe...

 

It's pretty funny to see people invest in +150$ mechanical keyboards for gaming, yet they are still on a crappy TN 1080P 60hz panel...  :unsure:

For my main rig, I'm using a SteelSeries Apex [RAW], for my little computer corner there's an Alienware one, then on my laptop it's a normal non-backlit one (I'm eyeing the backlit versions on eBay since this one is a little worn out in the first place), and I have my favorite keyboard (A PS/2 Dell QuietKey, beige and everything) in its box since I don't have anywhere to put it where it won't yellow from light or anything, since I don't have UV filters. :/

The plastic bit was what I first noticed when my brother got it out of the box. But regardless, it's still probably a rather nice keyboard. I just wouldn't give up my Ducky's for a Corsair.

I mostly got it for the cherry mx reds and aluminium construction. I write a ridiculous amount every day so i needed something sturdy^^ 

I couldn't really find a ducky i liked for a reasonable price back when i got it. If i did i would've gotten one

 

Oh and the volume scroll wheel. I really don't like the buttons for audio
