Why is dome and chicklet separate categories?

I'm on a chiclet keyboard that uses domes...

 

It's just the style of keyboard.

They're no different from each other in terms of activation pressures, it just depends on what type of rubber they use.

LED backlit and uses Cherry MX browns. It may not have any crazy features like programmable keys or RGB lighting, but I like it for that reason. Its built like a tank and reliably fills its utilitarian purpose, I use it much for the same reason that my car of choice is a 99' Jeep wrangler. It's compact, durable, and has a simple easily maintained design.
