Somebody convince me that this is a bad idea.

The monitor will give you Super AIDS. That or something about low framerates/having to downsample or lower settings for good framerates. Probably the AIDS though.

I saw a Vizio 4K Ultra HD tv in a store the other day and I wanted to rob a bank to get one. It was glorious...! This price makes robbing a bank not so necessary though. :lol:

Well it's tn and one of the first consumer 4k monitors.

Have a look at its specs maybe see if it's got a good stand or vesa compatible.

Besides that I got nothin. This is a pretty good deal, but personally I will never buy a tn panel again after going IPS

Edit: ooh factory reconditioned, pretty sure that gives it a higher chance of dead pixels and back light bleed sooner in its lifetime or out of the box

I have this monitor but I paid 330 about 8 months ago. It's pretty neat but if I were to buy today I'd buy that 39.5in monitor tek syndicate reviewed from Korea, but that monitor is more expensive.

Condition Factory Reconditioned

I got a factory reconditioned debranded HP monitor from woot 5 years ago.

Still going strong as my main Monitor

I picked  up the Acer 4k TN 60hz 28 inch refurbished for 299 Plus shipping and i think  this is suppose to be comparable or use the same Pannel as most of the budget 4k 28s Did for a while and might still and honestly its not that bad The Extra resolution is beautiful and the Colors are Okay-Decent not really that bad for a budget 4k monitor if your in the market for one but cant afford a IPS

This isn't that great if a deal. Open box dell 4k monitors are only a little bit more on amazon.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Oh those are expensive. Only saw the 1440 part. Personally I rather have 2 1440p monitors than 1 ultra wide.
