Posted July 29, 2015 because you can use a controller on a PC too. because you aren't locked to stupid ass 792p resolution. because you can get more than 30FPS. because physX if you're into that. because it's also a computer, not a game machine that tries to be a computer. because of personal sense of accomplishment from building own gaming PC. We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.
 Posted July 29, 2015 This is like asking "why is christianity better, i've watched too many "why judaism is better vids"". You appear indoctrinated and are baiting someone to conform your bias. The possibility you're going to defend or rationalise your pre-existing bias, eventhough you're asking differently, is too easy to predict. And who is seriously going to waste his breath... Or, you already know and are just creating trollbait. Either way, this is pointless. EDIT; apparently still a lot of people try to explain... Pascal Undervolting topic, get more out of your card with less power! Why high refreshrate monitors look better even without Freesync/G-sync in one image.Stutters, framedrops, "lag". Posted July 29, 2015 I think it totally depends on how much you plan to play, and how much you want to invest. I'm getting a console because I don't play much. I'll sit down for maybe a few hours a week, and hammer out some Halo sessions with a few friends. There's maybe 7 games I really want to play. For me, it doesn't really make sense to drop $1200+ on a gaming computer. I can get a console for under $300. Not only that but I do a lot of work on my PC. So when it's time to enjoy something I'd rather not be still connected to it. What do the "pro console" people say, I cannot think of many pros Cheap initial cost Easy to use Exclusives thats it really.. there are no other advantages to console gaming, and arguably the cost factor is debatable due to online costs and game prices (plus you still have to buy a PC for normal stuff) Honestly if Consoles did not have exclusives I would never even think of buying one Haha, people always quote the online cost.
