Tech Confession Time!

I burnout my gtx 560 ti 448 core because I pushed the over clock a little to hard. Really learned from that mistake :( I sometimes feel like a OC noob :(

i guess you burnout your gtx 560 because you turned up the voltage too high and the vrm's failed.

Yes that is exactly what happened, I am Better at OCing now though, I guess you learn from your mistakes. Ah?

I used to be a console gamer and I honestly feel like they get way more hate than they deserve. I love the feel of the XBox 360 controller, i still use it every once in a while for emulators and I wish I could play Halo Reach on my PC. TBH I miss my days of playing with the 360 (and gamecube and gameboy for that matter), and some of the friends I might have lost by switching to PC gaming...  :(

May the Force be with you.

its not too much of your fault. reference pcb gtx 560 has poor quality vrm's. blame nvidia :). so do your research of a particular gpu before you overclock it. i have a reference pcb gtx 570 which also has poor quality vrm's, this is why i don't overclock it for now unless im hyper

some vendors like asus, gigabyte etc. add more vrm's

using a geforce 210 on a Core i7 920 system and gaming on it....... >.<

Well to be fair, the original purpose of this system was cpu/Storage system dependent task (TV recording, video encoding, F@H, ect). Most demanding job the gpu should of had was playing back recorded tv.

So for its intended task, it was just fine as any cheap currently sold gpu could handle.

It's just what the rest of the family wanted and started doing...

You could get Hackintosh compatible parts, or run in a virtual machine. Obviously the virtual machine route won't yield nearly as much performance, but can be very cheap, if not free (VirtualBox).

I have researched it A LOT and all I need is a network card but I'm still a little scared actually installing. And yeah I have tried the virtual machine but It couldn't run Logic Pro 9 at all lol.

The only good Assasians Creed was the second one, Nvidea Shield is an awesome device and I think the 350D, 550D, 650D, 800D and the 900D cases are ugly

I can't really get into any game anymore... I'll play it for 2 hours max and then probably never launch it again.

Same here mate. There were some games that I could just even play endlessly but even those games I stopped playing.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?
