I've been to 3 in total, all the states on the west coast. California was my favorite by far. I've lived here in Oregon all my life and, sadly, the rain and nature-yness of it just doesn't suit me. Never been elsewhere so I might be jumping the gun on my favorite but I do love SoCal and can't imagine liking another part of the country anywhere near as much.

What's your favorite state? For you international folks what looks most appealing to you and why?

*There will be no poll on here nor strawpoll as they are limited to 20 and 30 options respectively.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Never been to the US, but Texas seems interesting. Alaska too and not sure what state San Francisco is in, but that one seems nice too :)

And obligatory California entry.

EDIT: would like to visit New York city too, not sure what state that is

I have never been to the us. And i don't think i'll ever go there. (Fuck flying)

Oregon seems like a place i'd feel at home in though. Or Alaska.

Hawaii is a state too i just realized. But i wouldn't want to live on an island

Dunno.

Lived in Florida and North Carolina and visited Georgia. Even though I'm not a fan of the South I'm more liking NC because of castle and firearm laws as well as being only a short drive from the mountains.

San Fran is Cali

Oh yeah, looking at Google Maps, California is a lot bigger than I thought it was (knew where San Fran was, but thought Cali didn't reach that).

Well I would love to go through the whole of California, because GTA games and San Francisco (from another game).

And also Nevada (in particular Las Vegas), because it seems cool.

It sounds like the Australia of the US :P

And I want to visit Alaska because of 2 Discovery/NatGeo channel series I watch (one about trains there, the other about the mines).

Idaho or Utah from what I know. I like the mountains and more open space, rather than cities.

I wouldn't want to live there though. I'd choose somewhere in Canada to be honest.

colorado is the state with the mountains

Any state that has google fiber.

Least favorite states:

Virginia. (full of old people who don't like ANYTHING fun)

Michigan (full of rude people who can't drive)

California (full of hippies and SJW's)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Never been to US (well... Never been abroad. Too poor to travel... :/ ), but Michigan and Washington state look appealing to me. Oregon doesn't look too bad either.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.
