I have an ssd that has been through 4 of my computers it is from 2011 early sata 3

i was also using a early 1080p dell monitor it was ips but looked like a tn monitor viewing angles were horrible for ips i was also using a 10 dollar microsioft keyboard

ohh and on that 1080p monitor there was no stand for it so it was just leaning against hte wall at  precarious angle

one of my LED strips is twisted and taped to a molex connector i sniped off of an antec tri cool. i also still have a 1080 display on my desk.

The only thing i've really done which is ghetto is do the SATA Hack on my 2008 Mac Pro which is to use one of the 2 unused/hidden SATA Ports on the motherboard, put a cable into the DVD Bay and put a Hard Drive up there (I've got my 250GB Samsung Evo 840 in the 2nd Optical drive bay).

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM

Gaming Machine:  Acer Nitro 5, Core i7 10750H, RTX 3060 (L) 6GB, 1TB SSD (Boot), 2TB SSD (Storage), 32GB DDR4 RAM

Other Tech: iPhone 15 Pro Max, Series 6 Apple Watch (LTE), AirPods Max, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PS3, Xbox 360

Network Gear:  TP Link Gigabit 24 Port Switch, TP-Link Deco M4 Mesh Wi-Fi, M1 MacMini File & Media Server with 8TB of RAID 1 Storage

Hi there, i just added a second monitor to my desk at my fathers house.

It's a really not very good monitor but it's just my way of having the forum constantly open :)

 

The picture's a bit crappy, it was hard to capture with 2 different light sources and still make it look legit
