I'm not really entering this giveaway for myself but for my little brother. He has been using my PC ever since I left for Infantry training almost 5 months ago now. I plan to just give him the PC as he loves using it and had never had a gaming PC of his own. He used to always bug me to play it back when I was home, I usually didn't let him which was selfish on my part. My dad tried multiple times to make a PC of his very own but all we had were really old computer parts and the PCs he made couldn't run Minecraft if they tried. He tried many times just to get a job so he could build his own but he was turned down each time. I tried to save money myself to build him a PC but I always had something come up that caused me to not have the money. Now that I'm here in the Army I have no use for my computer anymore so I want to give it to him to keep and enjoy. It currently has a GTX 660 which is still a good card but is slowly reaching the end of its life cycle and I would love to give him an upgrade that would allow him to continue to play new games as they come out. He's patiently waiting for me to finish my training so we can play games together again and when I am finally done and settle down in my unit I will just build my own PC at that time. I would love to win this giveaway for my brother .

I am so sorry to hear about your cancer scare, my mom currently battles cancer and there has not been good news. She wasn't able to attend my OSUT graduation because of it and I haven't seen her for months. I really appreciate you doing this its wonderful that you want to give back to the community. In the time I've been a member of the LTT forums I have talked to many incredible people. This is truly an amazing and thriving community.

If I won I'd probably keep it around until Christmas or my birthday, so I can fund building a whole new rig that will take both it and my current 970 in SLI, as at this point I'd have to upgrade pretty much everything in my current rig if I wanted to do SLI

I have been there before. I use to play games and get 1 to 5fps on at 720p screen. It was horrible. I waited and saved up money and built my first rig. Best of luck.

As much as I'd like a 970 for myself (playing games on a K2000 gets rather...uncomfortable), I think upgrading my brother's R7 240 is a higher priority, so if my bad luck magically improves overnight I'd like to give it to him. (;;

Thanks again for doing this Grim!!  somebody is gonna be happy!   I'd really like a 970  because I bought a 960 (which is a great card) but I have a 4790k and am severely bottle necking.  I would gladly give away my gigabyte gtx960 g1 to whomever you choose if I won (or ship it straight to you for you to send).
