My computing teacher thinks i am a big-headed dumbass cos of LTT

I dont know why he hates me, he says that i "waste my time" on LTT, and that it doesn't teach you anything. I mean, what does the old man know anyway? Gets confused when i mention the word UEFI and runs an 8 year old PC with Linux. Just cos i know more than is required on the course (and never boasted about it), doesnt automatically make me a big headed prick.

 

Sorry for my rant, teacher said this to me on Wednesday on our last lesson before Study Leave. 

Your thoughts, what should i say to him?

 

EDIT: those of you thinking i am on it in class are mistaken, i do not use it in class, just told him about it once and this happened

No joke - make a test, a written test , the LTT community can think of some tech questions

 

and ask him to answer them - give him the whole of one lesson to answer - no google allowed

 

Be polite and just say "sir I have something fun for you, see if you can do this test"

Course ended this wednesday and final exam is in 2 weeks. Can't wait to end this crap. Thanks for your experience

EDIT: Also, I'm sure if i mentioned UEFI to my course tutor he wouldn't know as much about it... He admits that with a lot of newer developments, he's been into computing for decades and is a frickin genius. Nothing wrong with running an 8 year old PC with Linux.

Ahh... Well, he's older than you... Times were different when he was learning. Just tell the old prick times have changed and he should accept that people learn in various ways, not just sitting down with a textbook.
