its some $1000 Dell laptop that her company provided (but its a really bad laptop)

17", core i3, 4gb ddr3, some low capacity hdd, and integrated graphics hd 3000. the wifi doesn't even work

i guess it was that much because it came with a lot of software but overall its not very good.

$1000 my ass.

That's terrible.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8600 at 3GHz (OC)

GTX 550Ti

4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM.

Not actually that bad by my standards. She can still play battlefield if she was that way inclined!

Not bad at all, my mum has a Toshiba Satellite laptop (not sure on the exact model)

Intel Core i3-350M (Arrandale) 2.26GHz

4GB DDR3-1066 RAM

Toshiba 500GB HDD

That's all I can remember but to be honest, it isn't a bad little laptop though it does run very hot, relatively basic thing it's at 65 degrees and goes into the mid 70's.

i know i was surprised.

actually its a 15.6in but it looks big. and apparently is ~$700 but i think that when the company ordered them in bulk they added extra preloaded software or somthing so it became $100

My mom actually uses my gaming rig to do her work. May have been built for gaming but it's very responsive and ergonomic and civilians can appreciate that too.
