What's a mindlessly fun game with MP on PS3?

I'm considering getting CoD Ghosts for like $5 on Amazon.

Is there something similar to Gears of War on PS3? I prefer that a bit more than CoD.

Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be a shooter or competitive. Just something you can play MP every once in a while for some random fun.

Titan Fall was pretty fun if you like that a good first person shooter with GIANT MECHS!

TitanFall isn't on PS3, just Xbox 360 and One and on PC...

Yeah, it's pretty fun but I have it on the 360. After playing it for long enough, I sorta got bored with it though.

 

Blops II > Ghosts

100% preference based  :)
