It wouldn't be hard to create maps that don't have ABC pathing on them. Creates more effort needed to spawn trap in a sense. And it allows more variety in gameplay.

 

I actually really like 3 lane maps. Examples such as Black Ops 2 Standoff, Raid, etc. and even outside of COD. CSGO Dust 2 and Cache are great maps in my opinion. Of course there should be little alleyways that connect certain bits to others but I really dislike what AW brought with their "verticality" where there are 4 map lanes with an additional lane both underneath and on top. Having essentially 16 lanes is impossible to keep track of and becomes very frustrating as a player.

I absolutely hate them. You can't do as much and it allows too much camping. One reason why I liked Roundhouse so much.

I want them to re-release MW2 with new map packs. It was broken but boy was it fun. I have like months played on that game. I still play it pretty often.

HA! MP wise, sure Battlefield is better than COD but I still wouldn't call it the best. Give me classic Unreal Tournament any day over that stuff. Single player wise COD is miles a head.

It has. Eveb between MW2 and BLOPS2 you can feel differences and AW felt really fresh and fun. It's not massive "this is a completely different experience" changes but they are there.

For how old the engine is AW looked pretty decent but yeah they really need a new one. Hopefully the Infinity Ward title will introduce a new one.

Font get me wrong, it looks decent and it can be run fast on cheap cards, but they should upgrade the engine for better physics/graphics experience. Remember the fps cap in AW because if it went any faster physics would break

Treyarch is the best COD developer, though i really really hoped for a WW1/2 or Cold War black ops (like the first one) instead of this future... whatever it is.

It was cool in Black ops 2, and got anoying in Advanced Warfare especially because they decided to fuck over PC users, fps limits and god guns...

Atleast Black ops 2 had no fps caps and something that recembled balance and giving a shit about pc gamers, i really hope they kept that.

It is better, at least to me. I didn't say anything about the story, did I? To me the COD single player is more fun than Battlefield's.

Which took all it is't ideas from cyberpunk stories. The whole "what makes you human" and "turning humans into mechanized weapons" etc stuff is getting more common these days. COD loves trying to grab ideas from current events or trends and make a silly story out of them.

somehow this got me exited as a BLR(blacklight retribution) player, that game is like the F2P daddy to this one.

THE SAME SH*T AS EVERY OTHER CALL OF DUTY, it needs big maps, vehicles, good graphics, more tactical options as well as the SP. They only good thing in CoD is story, but that on the other hand is useless, since you can just read a book if you want story, the weapons dont have any recoil at all and there is no tactics in its multiplayer involved, the kill streaks are bullshit as well

it's fun you know.. if you want recoil and realistic stuff, there's Battlefield,Arma,Insurgency. CoD mainly focus on the fun of the game, the game that anyone can play.

By that metric nothing has been new for the last 500 years... and one thing is having it in a game like deus ex, which is extremely complex and lets you delve into the questions as well as give your own answers; cod is a linear 6-hour hold your hand museum trip where you only get to take a look at some set pieces and everything is predefined for you.

Drift0r, who's one of my favourite YouTubers because he's just a damn smart guy seems to have a lot of hope for the PC version. Treyarch's been giving it a lot of love already, min specs released, stressing they want the PC base to return to COD, already working with hardware manufacturers (I assume NV, AMD) to ensure the game is smooth on launch. He said he's never seen the PC version get this much support in a very long time, if ever (especially this early)... I'm not hyping this game up or anything but looks like it might be a solid release on PC - I suggest watching the video

Again, it appears to do this partially in the storyline. How much of that is reflected on the multiplayer or zombies, however, is up in the air ATM.

No I didn't watch the vines, but from the trailer I understand that it is based in the future.

 

They apparently were on Snapchat (of all places), so the videos did not last for a particularly long time. But they were there long enough for youtubers (such as Drift0r) to capture them and break them down.
