Experiences with non-techies

Well ie works flawlessly in winders 8 so no use hating on in it not nearly as bad as it used to be

IE is still the least secure browser in the world. For some fcking reason, MSN and Bing always have to dominate, when obviously, it's GOOGLE!!!!!!!

Chrome hardly holds a candle in terms of security to Firefox frankly chrome is really bad the only advantage is syncing between devices seamlessly

No no no. Chrome has the biggest web store for its browser and it can go incognito, improving security. Can IE do that? NO!!!

If you would read you would know I claimed Firefox was more secure not ie. Firefox is a much much superior browser I'm sure any long term web user would agree. Such speed, much security wow!

It's the worst term ever made. Because a lot of idiots use it and don't even know what it means...

Their cloud rendering and such isn't going to work very well in the first place.... Just gonna make games laggy if it's forced on bad connections.

You do not understand how lucky you are... Most techies only dream of converting their entire family to Android and Windows. How the heck did you do that!?

My dad needs Windows for work and has used android for a while, my mom began to hate her iPhone 4S and happened to see my shiny new HTC one and liked it. She also has to use Windows for work and currently is running parallels, so she is being warned up to it. My sister needed a new laptop to replace her 8 year old iMac (a hand me down from my mom) and my mom was not willing to spend over $750 so a MacBook was not an option.

my granddad updated his iPad to IOS-7 over Christmas, then called me to say he had "lost Google". he failed to realise that the search bar and address bar had become one, even when typing in the web address for it and seeing the "do you mean" bar show it up.

recently, he also updated his mac book to mavericks, after we discovered he had bought it in 2009 and had never updated it, because he thought he may lose all of his data. when we did update it, we managed to get locked out of half the applications, as he had set up passwords for accounts and then promptly forgotten them. it was sorted eventually, but not after discovering he has a book filled with all of his passwords and accounts he has ever had online. it was like sifting through a library to find the relevant ones.

another one I had in school today was when i was looking at the Puget oil cooled systems they offer, and i had a number of people come over and ask why would you build a computer in a fish tank. this was promptly followed after an explanation by asking can you put fish in it. this included people who were doing A-level biology.

At my school, we have chrome books. Pretty much everyone refers to them as the "Google Chromes". They also call the Google drive and chrome browser Google Chrome.

I save all my passwords with keepass

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.
