I looked at Jonny's review of it, and it is downright not a good power supply. The teardown was terrible.

My friend bought a PC off of his friend.  He brings the PC to my house and says, "my front panel audio and USB 3 ports don't work."

I pop open the side panel and realize the issue.

I tell him, "that's because the guy you bought this off of never plugged in the front panel audio and USB 3.0 headers..."

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

on my asus motherboard, the HD audio headers aren't labeled properly. they're not even documented as HD audio headers.

the first case I got for that computer had USB 3 on front panel, but it was made before USB 3 headers were a thing apparently, so the USB 3 plugs were just fancy extension cables, they're supposed to plug into the back of your motherboard.

Yeah, that's right.

USB -> USB 3 front panel -> Cables -> The back of your motherboard

That's not the issue here, they were labeled clear as day.  And even if that was, doesn't explain why the USB 3 header wasn't plugged in.

i would because its in a remote location near a bunch of other headers

you got every header and jumpers shoved into one area and they all look alike and have the same pin layout with misleading labels.

Now this story didn't happen to me, but my brother. Basically the easiest way to prank the computer sciences teacher in his school is it, to flip the switch on the PSU in the back of his computer to the off position or simply unplug the computer and watch as the teacher struggles for at least 15 minutes, trying to find out why his computer doesn't turn on.
