Any Pokémon TCG collectors here? :D

I have been collecting all my life now and have about 8500 unique cards (I count holos as separate cards, but do not count 1st editions or whatever as multiple).

I have 5 binders filled right now and about to start with my 6th. I also have 35 of these Pokemon tins. Not all of them are new.

Collected so many cards and other stuff over the years.. Probably have like 15K double cards now :P

By the way, I do not play the game. Never wanted to learn it or something..

 

So what about you guys? I don't think there will be many collectors here (if any :P ), so it's ok to discuss the Pokémon games here too :D

Have been playing pretty much all main series one since I was 5 or something :)

Use to be really into it like 3 years ago. I went into MTG and then no trading card games.

The engine roars but then it gives, but never dies

I was really never into the trading card game I always played the games from gameboy to 3ds i watched the anime but never played the trading card game

I never played the game with the trading cards, I just liked collecting and trading :D

I used to. At one point when I was a kid I had something like 15k cards. My collection now is so puny though.

I am a huge Pokemon nerd too :D but I am mostly into the TCG and games.

2005 is last time I was into it. I still have my three 6 inch binders or Pokemon cards, and my two 5 inch yugioh card binders. Probably could sell them on Ebay for $50000 dollars.

Only TCG cards i have ever had were WoW ones because i wanted the in-game mounts :)

2005 is last time I was into it. I still have my three 6 inch binders or Pokemon cards, and my two 5 inch yugioh card binders. Probably could sell them on Ebay for $50000 dollars.

Pokemon cards are not that valuable if they are not mint condition.

Yu-Gi-Oh cards seem to hold their value much better and MTG even better.

give mine away a few years back, had a employee lvl x.

 

the only memory i have now is a old GBC game, which where you truly play with the cards.

I'm gonna take a guess and say auto-correct took over? Or else I would have wanted that Employee Pokemon ;)

I do remember that GBC game, but I never really like playing the card game. I just like collecting.

 

Almost all boys in my class have laptops, we all play pokemon sapphire in class on an emulator :) and i never really liked cards

This thread reminds me that I probably still have my cards somewhere. I collected those from 1998 to 2007.

 

The games on the other hand... after a 5-year hiatus from them I am so into them again. It's like I'm a little kid again, but I'm not.

'98 - '07 was a very good time for the trading cards. Some of the coolest (IMO) cards came out back then :D

Yes I am. Not right at this moment, but yes. I was one of those people who liked generation III, so of course I like the remakes.

I basically completely abandoned Y because of OR.

 

Speaking of which I've been considering going back and beating Y with just a Floatzel. It's not that much of a challenge honestly, should be possible.

The main game of Pokemon Y was not that enjoyable IMO and it was not that hard too.

OR is way more enjoyable and with the DexNav and stuff, I want to shiny hunt too :D
