do you limit your FPS?

i limit mine to 65 because my monitor can't do more than 60 but the extra 5 FPS is like a buffer so that i don't dip below 60 also runs the GPU cooler. i use rivatune to limit it

I have a 144hz monitor so I let it go except in a few games such as league of legends where I use in-game frame limiting (not v-sync).

i can't get to 60 fps in any game sometimes in minecraft but thats all

Yup Vsync set, 60 FPS on ultra is all i need. I don't care if my GPU can push more its just more power consumption and heat for very little visual return.

never use v-sync, input lag is the bane of my existence. Tearing is something I can deal with and isn't prevalent in most games.

AC4 is internally limited to 62FPS anyway right (Without Vsync on my machine it is)? What FPS jumps do you have..?

I always limit mine to 60fps otherwise my GPU overheats pointlessly trying to render 200 fps.

Imput lag is MUCH worse than tearing, noise or high temperatures.

when i play counter strike i un-limit it because it feels smoother.

and when i have my 280x i can run anything over 1080p 60fps

Depends on the game, if a certain game has problems (screen tearing etc) then I will turn V-Sync on.
