You American's are adorable.  I have a $4403.89 paycheque that is $2906.92 after deductions.  Welcome to Canada.

On the other hand, the government subsidized my college education down to $30 000, then gave me GRANTS of $13 000 so I only had to pay $17 000 or so in student loans.  On top of the $7500 or so in cash bursaries I got.  Or that nifty healthcare system I get access too.  Or the corporate tax incentives that motivated my employer to move the majority of operations from California to Canada, forcing many Americans to either move to Canada or lose their jobs while any lost jobs and new jobs were filled by Canadians.

If I did work full time at my current wage, I'd make $440 a week, or $880 bi-weekly.

$1760 monthly

I make $11/hr.
