They have stated that DDR4 and other color variations will be coming. Everyone complaining about the looks and stuff as if there isn't like nearly a hundred other types of RAM you can chose from anyways. I think these look hella cool and have something that no other kits of RAM have, which has always been the best thing about avexir.

looks pretty cool actually. I personally dont think i would use them in a system i build though. I prefer the look of something like the corsair dominator platinum series ram.

I'm gonna grab a couple modules and pry that awful plastic off so I can see the bare plasma tube in its full glory. I think the uncovered version they showed looked awesome; the finished product, not even close. I don't understand why modern electronics manufacturers keep trying to cover up components with sheet metal and plastic. if I wanted that I would buy a piece of sheet metal and nail it to my wall. I think electronic components themselves actually look cool. Stuff like motherboard armor , ram 'stickons', and GPU back plates, are so damn ugly in comparison to bare electronics. I'm one of those guys who loved stuff like the GameBoy Advance that had a transparent shell. When I look in my case I want to see the bare circuitry, not your hideous plastic (sh)art plastered all over it. You make nice things and then you ruin them for 'aesthetic purposes'. Cut it the hell out already.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

I saw a video about Avexir plasma RAM (not sure it it were these or they have another) and they are really noisy in comparison to regular RAM because of the fancy plasma tubes.

 

Also they are interacting with each other better (more light effects) fs there are 4 rams next to each other, then just 2 with empty slot between them

The DDR4 variant is actually available now. Men, this Raiden memory looks wicked! But I'd prefer their Red Tesla more compared to this white and blue.
