madcatz_surfr_2-1024x939.jpg
*phone not included

The idea behind the S.U.R.F.R. is that it’s a multifunctional accessory that you can use when you’re facing your big screen TV and integrating all your Android media and gaming sources. You can use it as a multimedia controller for when you’re watching web TV apps like HBO GO, Hulu, or Netflix.

You can also use it for gaming – that’s what the integrated D-pad is for, and that’s why the device is held like a gaming controller to begin with. You can play your mobile games from on your mobile, or sync it with an Android TV device and play your games from there. Lastly, you can surf your social networks – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like – and update your status using the built in QWERTY keyboard. This is all wireless, all handheld.
It will cost $60

The Mad Catz L.Y.N.X. 3

It’s basically a controller that will adapt to whichever gaming console or platform you pair it with. You can sync it to your mobile as a Bluetooth controller, sync it with your PC as a wireless gaming controller, sync it with Android TV as a gaming controller, and a lot more.
It will also be priced at $60

Hmm, looks decent.

Never liked MadCatz stuff. Except for their fighting sticks.

As a member of the PC Master Race, I look down my nose at such pathetic gaming devices.

Kidding.  looks pretty cool actually.  I wonder if it would work well with a Shield.  Mind you, for the price it's probably better to get the wireless shield controller.

And here comes the reminder that most people on the forums are 12 year old boys who like anything with LEDs and flashy lights

So are you a K70 RGB or a Das Pro 4 person.

Sound: Custom one pros, Audioengine A5+ with S8 sub.

Interested to see the LYNX 5 and 7 now, but not interested in the price they will likely be. The SURFr thing looks alright but eh, still Madcatz. I hope their quality has improved over the past several years for their controllers.
