Just had an idea and thought that to make each category on the forum more recognisable each one could have a specific icon. I came up with these designs as a concept. What do you think? Do you think it would be cool if each category on the forum had a unique icon?

Altough it looks cool, in my opinion it is a little unnecessary.

Well, that's one way to stamp all over his work. ;)

I think they're quite good and would love to see them implemented. :)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

They look pretty cool, but it we add icons to one subforum, we kinda need to do it for all of them.

I don't think we are able to add icons to subforums at the moment, but it is my understanding that it will become possible later in the year when we update to a new version of the forum software. I can't promise that we will have icons, but it is possible.

Ok, yeah I only came up with 3 as a concept so I understand that if it was to be implemented, then all of the subforums would need a unique icon as to not leave any out.

Thank you.

Nice job. You may now join ISIS. But what's the practical use of this, by the way?

Recognisability and makes the icons on the front page unique as currently they are all the same.

The PC Gaming icon isn't entirely accurate. Some of us game with steering wheels in racing games, or controllers in our emulators or some AAA titles. It makes it seem like we're limited to only mice.

:P haha of fair enough, I think it's one of the main things that distinguishes pc from console gaming as consoles also have steering wheels and controllers. These icons are only concepts that can be revised.
