What's Your Favorite Web Browser?

I've always used firefox.

Switched to chrome when I got my S3 as it seemed a good idea

Hated the S3 and android in general, so switched back to firefox

Midori ^^ Never seen such a small, simple and fast browser, and it has built-in adblock!! :D
To bad the Windows version is quite unstable... runs perfectly on Linux except for flash.

Firefox because not only does it look really nice with the right personas, it has more extensions than chrome I believe (it's older anyway), it's open sourced, which is cool, and I can group my taps so that when I had 100 tabs open, I didn't have to scroll through the open tabs too much (yes, vertical scrolling (with the right extensions)).

And I just like it.

  • 2 weeks later...

Google Chrome. I used Mozilla Firefox before, but switched to Chrome due to performance issues, which caused my PC to freeze after using Firefox for 2 min - 2 h. From my experience, Chrome opens up faster, operates faster and won't freeze my whole PC.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I see a few people saying they use chrome because they can run 10 tabs or 100 tabs (100??? really),  is that the only reason?  I opened 25 tabs in IE to see what would happen and it worked, I browsed like I was supposed to.  Is there some other advantage that people aren't mentioning?

Firefox. The add ons and extensions greatly enhance performance.

Chrome because it's the fastest and feels the most responsive. I don't actually hate the new IE, but I can't be seen using IE, and Firefox takes three times as long as Chrome to do anything no matter how many times I try it on any number of systems. I did like Nightly for HTML5 tests but that was about it.

Chrome, because Firefox seems really unstable, Safari is no longer supported on windows, Maxthon doesn't have too many plugins, IE is slow, Opera 15 lacks features, and Opera 13 is too slow. :P

IE can be really unstable after a while depending on what you are doing.

I used to use Firefox, but at some point it went nuts and started crashing & getting buggy so I uninstalled it, installed Chrome and haven't look back since.

Are they even still around? Didn't Netscape become Firefox?
