Imho people do learn a lot. But too many are easily corrupted by money. Combined with selfish behaviour of many people u get people in goverment leading the humanity to shit...

Yeah I know. I'm hoping they continue to do so, until society collapses entirely under the weight of it's own corruption, and everything goes to shit. You only learn not to touch a hot stove burner by burning your hand, well we apparently need our hands burnt, even though we know better.

Obviously to get water from the machine you first need reliable source of water for people to actually be able to drink/use first before pooping and provide the necessary amount of sludge for the machine to work. If this thing were to be build in countries where fresh drinking waters are already limited like in central africa etc2, don't you think that would defeat the main purpose of this machine at first? To my understanding the electricity generated is only secondary. Will they have to import human waste from somewhere else to be able to meet the water demand later? Why not invest of proper water filteration/supply first from let say the sea of underground water?
