Just second SSD, these new games seriously take up some space and the 240GB is simply not enough!

Getting another 24" full Hd display for a 3rd one + a 4K display

I need more workspace

A GPU that can support more than 4 displays it seems R9 290

These are for sure. I would not change GPU as my HD 7770 does the job, but I need more than 3 monitors

dreams: mITX/mATX with a Z97/X99 as a portable workstation (as I have a laptop it is not necessary tho)

Definetely a new case, really hate my current one (Cooler Master k380), probably gonna give Be Quiet's case a go. And maybe go for a new a fan on my H80i, still clueless about what fan to get, to be honest.

Third thing would be my GPU, but i don't feel like having to replace it anytime soon, I'm still very satisfied with my gtx770.

Asus B85M-G / Intel i5-4670 / Sapphire 290X Tri-X / 16GB RAM (Corsair Value 1x8GB + Crucial 2x4GB) @1333MHz / Coolermaster B600 (600W) / Be Quiet! Silent Base 800 / Adata SP900 128GB SSD & WD Green 2TB & SG Barracuda 1TB / Dell AT-101W / Logitech G502 / Acer G226HQL & X-Star DP2710LED

For my current build... Nothing really. Maybe an upgrade to X99 later, but for now it's finished.

I would love to create a small gaming rig in a Parvum Systems S2.0. I'd like to time it with the Mirror's Edge 2 release and theme it with the white and red colour scheme and logos. I'd use hard tubing with it.

Hey guys, (sorry if there has been a similar thread) i was wondering, what are your next plans to upgrade you PC, and PC peripherals/accessories? For me i'm planning on:

  • A new case preferably a Carbide Air 540, but if something new comes out, and it's better and it's cheaper i'll go for that. I will also get some white LED white strips.
  • New GPU, preferably an MSI Lightning series GPU OR a Sapphire R9 290x with their 'Tri X' cooler. May consider a GTX 970 if i see one on sale.
  • Some yellow and black sleeved cables from PCcasegear: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=30135&cPath=1357
  • Some Corsair fans to go with my Carbide Air 540, i will paint the rings yellow on them OR get some sharkoon fans.
  • I have a 134gb left of my HDD, so either an MSATA drive, an SSHD or a SSD.
  • A new keyboard with Cherry MX blue, and a white backlight (the red on my K70 hurts my eyes for some reason, i've always had sensitive eyes for light colours like red)
  • A new Monitor (Dell Ultra-sharp hopefully!)
  • Eventually an Unlocked CPU, so i can actually Overclock on my MSI mpower.....and i'll pair it with a kraken or Corsair H100i.

Anyway, what are your future upgrades/plans for your rig?

~Elias

Only 40$ for that kit! Nice.

Currently in the process of:

Transferring the contents of my system into my new Fractal R5 from my Fractal R4. Adding the new GTX 980 I just bought to my custom loop that is dismantled currently (I'll be adding in a 280x83mm 14FPI radiator in there too so I'll be able to have the fans running at 3v).

What I plan to do:

Buy one or two Dell Ultrasharp UP2415Q (23.8 inch 4k ips monitor) when they are realized and I can snag a deal on them.

Add in a 2TB HDD into my system.

Next GPU upgrade will be when 1 GPU can run 4k decently.

Buy an amplifier so I can use my Tannoy speakers instead of these ozaki pc speakers.

And I haven't thought any further than this.

I have watched too many Linus' build guides. I was installing new fans today and decided to remove the top HDD cages to get better airflow. Somehow he has made me think that this is an acceptable way to install SSDs:

ui5h6je.jpg

So my future plans will include some new straight sata power and data cables to sort that mess out. :)

I hope to get:

- Bigger SSD (500gb or 1tb)

- Another 780 so I can play surround on higher settings or a Strix 980

- A 3rd monitor

- Not really an upgrade to my current set-up but a NAS for the storage's

Edit: Hopefully maybe a R5 or a new case
