STFU Kailh haters, they're bringing more competition to the market, especially with the global shortage of Cherry switches.

Just because it's made in China doesn't mean it's shit, and at least they're innovating as compared to Cherry who haven't made a new switch in years.

Forks are the same design they've been for centuries for a reason. They work.

Cherry have switches at every resistance and noise level. Not sure what else can be done

I'm not sure, I'd love Brown switches with a Purple backlight but Ducky is sold out all the time, so my only luck is a RGB keyboard for what I want.

But $160-180 for one? No thanks, especially if it's from Corsair, I don't want to give them any of my money.

Now, these non-Cherry keyboards that are RGB I wouldn't mind getting one of those, but the keyboards themselves look like crap and uncomfortable, so no to those as well.

WHY!? WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE KAILH!?

DUCKY! SAVE US FROM THE KAILH RGB ONSLAUGHT!

(I personally don't have anything against Kailh, but this likely means no version of the keyboard with switches similar to Cherry MX Greens and likely only versions close to Blue/Brown. Which, to me, is no-buy.)

To those asking, Corsair have exclusivity on Cherry MX RGB switches for the forseeable future

Exactly!

Do you think all these other manufacturers want to use non-Cherry MX switches.

They would love to but can't and they need to put out a RGB keyboard because that is what the market wants (a smaller part of that market actually cares about Cherry switches. Sorry folks, I know you think you are the majority, but you are far from it).

That being said, try other switches. Just because they are different doesn't mean they are bad. I understand you are used to the feel of Cherry switches, but be open minded sometimes and you will be surprised.

I'm hoping that's not the final design of the keyboard (that space bar is hideous).

Right now I'm in that odd spot where every RGB mechanical keyboard offering has something I don't like about it, so I'm just waiting for a manufacturer to hit the sweet spot for me.

EDIT: NVM, looks like that space bar is typical of SteelSeries' Apex series...
