Hmm... Interesting to say at least.

I probably wouldn't trust those, but I don't know for sure if those are good or not. Just looks a little too suspicious for me IMO.

As someone who has it, it's genuine. However, I fail to understand how this is news? These have been in the market since atleast 2 months down here in India

I wonder that as well. How can these be so cheap if these are genuinely working?

I guess it's very cheap Chinese labor... Or something...

Of course it's cheap, It's just a battery.

Shit, I got a 10A/H one free with a backpack.   Nothing amazing there.

I wouldn't doubt they could sell one that cheap as you can get some ridiculously cheap 5000mah 20c 2s and 3s batteries but I would doubt it's quality based on my experience with super cheap lithium batteries in the RC world.

Has to be cheap labour.

I have one here on my desk now, 10400mAh.  It was a gift, and it felt extremely high quality, and works better than my Sony power bank that cost six times more with less than half the capacity.

Someone broke it down and say it's genuine LG batteries in it. I didn't break down mine though, but at least it charges my phone's 2000mAh battery from near empty to full power four times before ran out of juice.

It won't charge my android tablet, not sure if it's the tablet's fault or xiao mi's.

Xiaomi powerbank has a good quality battery but it's very difficult to get in my country, they have a very limited stock especially for the 10000mAh version

The price makes it suspicious. I bet the cell inside is of crap quality and is not actually 5000mAh.

They are actually legit. I have the 10000mah one for ~10 usd. Works fine for 4 months now.

It does sound suspicious at first but now that I have owned it myself... a good bargain indeed. If u do some googling there are review sites who have disassembled the batteries to assess the component qualities. There is a reason why Xiaomi is now world's 3rd largest smartphone manufacturer. They dont sell crap products.
