When I get depressed I just go on ifunny

Yeah anti-depressant pills screw you up. I would never take them. I dunno, what do you like to do that amuses you? Maybe something in the back of your mind is getting you down. Try figuring that out and you'll end up feeling better.

My family says I've been depressed all my life.  If thats the case I've never noticed I'm depressed.  But my Father was an asshole and I had a horrible childhood and had tons of people die in my life so it could be possible.  

 

But, I think depression is something that can't be fixed with medicine.  Its something only YOU can fix, your doctor can't fix it, your parents, your siblings, your doctor, your teacher or anyone can't.  

 

But, maybe you guys aren't meaning "Depressed" as its supposed to mean.  Depressed is when you sit in your bed all day and all night doing nothing because you think you have absolutely no point in life and that no one could give a crap about you.  

 

But just go on Youtube and watch something funny.  Or even better, go and sit outside, in the sun, then go for a walk with the wind drifting over your face.  And maybe call up a friend and have a conversation face to face.  

 

Thats how I get over depression.

I'm on anti depressants and they work some of the time.... :/

I have a beast pc I have plenty of games to try and be happy playing them but playing games or watch movies doesn't help anymore..

Can you guys make me smile?? I'm in need of one!

probably just a lil bipolar :P im slightly bipolar as well my friend, nothing to be shamed of. just remember that its harder to be happy (ik it sounds upsetting) than to be sad just keep trying and enjoy the little things :D the little things are what always bring a smile to my face.

I have a lot of experience in this, the number of different antis I've gone through is ~20 now. The biggest thing you can do for yourself is make the effort to socialize. Whether it is talking to a friend/family member or just playing with someone online and use voip it makes a big difference.

i dont even know what to say, in my life i had never been depressed, ive been sad at times, ive been pissed off and stressed out but never have i been depressed. look for the good things in life.

 

for example you are part of these forums, that's fairly dope.

 

goo look at some funny things

 

see the positive impact you have had on peoples life
