Depression..............

Have a horse encounter? They really are amazing creatures<3

Or just go out and do something youve always wanted to do :)

I want to goto germany and race on the nurburgring but that'll never happen..

probably just a lil bipolar :P im slightly bipolar as well my friend, nothing to be shamed of. just remember that its harder to be happy (ik it sounds upsetting) than to be sad just keep trying and enjoy the little things :D the little things are what always bring a smile to my face.

I'm not bipilar I just get depressed quick no other mood swings or anything..

How many times a day are you fapping? We might need to up that.

/s

On a more serious note, I take anti depressants myself and have an anxiety disorder/PTSD from some stuff in my life I will not go in further detail of. I take anti depressants too and am struggling with similar things as you. How I get over it is to go outside and interact, or to accomplish something. I love my dogs and taking them for a walk really helps. Helping people on the forum makes me feel like I've accomplished something, so that is another thing. Goodluck man and keep pushing through.

I have a lot of experience in this, the number of different antis I've gone through is ~20 now. The biggest thing you can do for yourself is make the effort to socialize. Whether it is talking to a friend/family member or just playing with someone online and use voip it makes a big difference.

Hope this helps.

See I don't really have any friends who care :/ most of them are toxic friends... The only real friend I have is a girl but she is like 4 years younger than me

The OP hs not yet discovered the true powers in him. Must do it

Show me how!!

You need to get outside and have a network of friends to hang out with.

They'll help more than any game will.

Look at the first quote in this multi quote

i dont even know what to say, in my life i had never been depressed, ive been sad at times, ive been pissed off and stressed out but never have i been depressed. look for the good things in life.

for example you are part of these forums, that's fairly dope.

goo look at some funny things

see the positive impact you have had on peoples life

be happy for little things, like winning a free coffee from those mcdonalds monopoly things

Secluding yourself to an artificial world will just make it worse. You need to surround yourself by friends and you will realize there wont be any depression.

Depression = Real Life < Online Life

Like I have stated I hardly have any firends.. most are toxic friends... And the others Im only there friend when they need something

I think you're using the wrong sign judging by your abouve sentence. This is what it shoudl be:

Depression = Real Life > Online Life

As someone who suffers from major depression, I can say for a fact my math is correct. I barely suffer any depression symptoms when my mind is preoccupied. Playing games isn't productive and will only last so long until you are guess where? back in depression. I would get out and meet people, maybe get a part time job that puts you in an environment that's around people so you can interact. Staying glued to a computer or TV screen doesn't make you feel like you're actually part of something. Especially once you factor at least half of everything online is fake to begin with. That and get a girlfriend or boyfriend to spend all of your time with as well. There's more to life than just playing games and being just someone behind a screen (been there, did that).

Yeah anti-depressant pills screw you up. I would never take them. I dunno, what do you like to do that amuses you? Maybe something in the back of your mind is getting you down. Try figuring that out and you'll end up feeling better.

That's not how depression work...

Talk to a doctor, see a counselor, try different meds, get a support group.

It's not easy, trust me on this.

Depression effects everyone a little differently, therefore everyone had to deal with it in their own way. The things I mentioned are the starting points, you just have to go from there. <3

I never said in any way how it works.

Clinical depression isn't about one thing in particular making someone sad, it's about a chemical imbalance in the brain. So solving all of your life problems won't resolve it, you still feel like shit. Trust me <3

Why do I always get depressed??

I'm on anti depressants and they work some of the time.... :/

I have a beast pc I have plenty of games to try and be happy playing them but playing games or watch movies doesn't help anymore..

Can you guys make me smile?? I'm in need of one!

I have diagnosed depression. Once I stopped playing video games so much it really went away a lot.

Hang out with friends. Find a lady friend ;) (getcho smooth on)

Just find positives in everything. Take Zinc and get sunlight (vitamin D) as well.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You could try learning something new that you are interested in like for me, I'm interested in electrical and I love building things so when I build something from scratch and it works, I'm super happy and in the greatest mood ever. Just try something new to see if you like it and if not move on to the next thing, My dad has depression and has those meds, he doesn't take them much and occupies his time by building car/small engines to keep him happy.

Your body can create a chemical imbalance based on how your mental state is, if events in your life lead to sadness or depression you become depressed. Change your mental state and depression will go away.

That's situational depression, one type of depression. Clinical depression is different. I don't know what OP has, I'm not a doctor though he/she/they should see one to determine that.

Very true, that's why I said "More often than not, I would disagree." Not all the time.
