4ghz overclock club

Currently at 24/7 4.8ghz on my 3770k, was able to get to 5ghz and run without issue on prime 95 for quite some time, but wasn't happy with my temps, I imagine due

to the limitations of my H100i compared to a customer loop.

The hottest my 3770k get's to on prime 95 is between 85 and 90 @ 4.8ghz, which I'm happy with considering I'm using a H100i, and i never reach anywhere close to 100% load

with my everyday use. My max temp with my every day use is usually 65, (most things are more intense on my gpu)

the voltage I use @ 4.8ghz is 1.312, i was super impressed that i was able to reach such a great overclock, with a reasonable amount of voltage and with a little bit more head room

if i ever decide i want to invest in a custom loop!

One last note, I'm using a MSI Mpower big bang z77, which is a dream to overclock on!

We need a 5Ghz club. With a few tweaks I can run 5Ghz while around 85 degrees.

My chip can also make it to 5ghz, but the voltages and current cooling system for that makes it unrealistic to keep as a normal overclock for me. :P

yeah gets pretty hot it did get to 90 before but im guessing since it was a hot day made a thread about it like 3 days or so ago saying that @4.5ghz it was cooler than at 4.4 and i was like da f but figuring maybe because it got hotter later in the day that had something to do with it

OH yeah btw the Voltage is 1.320v idk why my cpuz doesn't read correctly happend before on my 3570k but just had to download a newer version but atm that can't be done since from what i know this is the latest version since i downloaded it about 3 weeks ago
