Which means we're more likely to have more members of the 4GHz overclock club.

SO CLOSE. Alas, I cannot realistically push my Hyper 101 any harder, fan is at 100%. I need to Christen my case. AKA make it holy.

Currently at 24/7 4.8ghz on my 3770k, was able to get to 5ghz and run without issue on prime 95 for quite some time, but wasn't happy with my temps, I imagine due

to the limitations of my H100i compared to a customer loop.

The hottest my 3770k get's to on prime 95 is between 85 and 90 @ 4.8ghz, which I'm happy with considering I'm using a H100i, and i never reach anywhere close to 100% load

with my everyday use. My max temp with my every day use is usually 65, (most things are more intense on my gpu)
the voltage I use @ 4.8ghz is 1.312, i was super impressed that i was able to reach such a great overclock, with a reasonable amount of voltage and with a little bit more head room

if i ever decide i want to invest in a custom loop!
One last note, I'm using a MSI Mpower big bang z77, which is a dream to overclock on!

i have had 4.8 on my i5 2500k stable, but i turned it back to 4.2 because i just didn't want the extra heat, it wasn't worth it in my mind.
