4ghz overclock club

I have my i5 750 overclocked from 2.6ghz to 3.8ghz, guess I don't qualify. :(.

I have 1.2v with 4.3Ghz on 3570k and a 212evo and I get a maximum of 76c° so I guess it depends on the silicon lottery

Still very high voltage mate..

Yea, as I've said I get roughly the same Max temp @4.8Ghz.

Is and isn't to be quite honest, if you lower them you could run into instability issues, if you don't you could shortening the life span of the CPU.

Here is my 4.2 Ghz overclock on my 2500K. There is something strange going on though. My multiplier seems to be stuck at 99.77, but in the BIOS it clearly says x100 and I can't change it. Does someone know why this is going on?

That's the bus speed. Not the multiplier. Same thing happens to me when I hit a certain point.

Ah okay, that is what I meant. Is this normal? I believe that is also does it at stock speed (3.3Ghz)

Yes it's normal. It's just a bit of droop.

I have not yet done a p4 overclock, but I will.

Theres a other p4-775 that have reached 5.2 according to "ltt forums cpu overclock database"

above was my 3770k, who blackscreened at 1.23v -4.5gHz, need more powah..
