Its not old news till people stop making money off videos and articles like that.

Till then, we can continue the forum circle jerk. Well, I use the royal we. I'd like to get back to actual tech news. Like the Windows 10 stuff.

We saw the horse, we beat the horse, its time to move on.

+1

If you don't want a bendy phone, then don't buy an iPhone 6+. No phone is indestructible, Lou (UnboxTherapy) proved that many other flagship smartphones bend as well.

Can we please keep all the things related to the iPhone bending in a single thread?

if someone vaguely related to the bendgate thing comes up (like Apple black listing some reporters from their events because they report on it) then make a new thread. We already have topics about phones bending so please contribute to them instead.

THIS GOES BOTH WAYS! I am looking at you two (you know who you are) who have made multiple threads defending Apple. You are/were part of the problem too.

Just watched the video, seems like a fairly logical breakdown. That being said, I again tried to bend my nokia lumia (which is old mind you, and about *grabs ruler conveniently sitting on desk for measuring a fan mount on something* 1cm thick, I even put it in metric for you guys) and my fingers again...broke.

#NOKIAMASTERRACE :P

this does seem like a structural defect, one that can be avoided with using a case, which I do myself even though my Nokia could probably knock me out without breaking.

Edit: I don't know what model nokia it is, I know it's 3 digits and starts with an 8, it's like, 2 years old, is an w8 phone, and has great battery life, I only ever notice it's battery life when someone calls my mom and asks for me and I think "why didn't my phone ring?"

It's probably 810. Or 820. Or 822.

No Nokia keep going, this naming scheme isn't fucking retarded at all.
