I didn't see that coming, although Microsoft has done weirder things in the past.

10 Windows! hahahahahah!

Pretty lame move this by MS. It had better be the best OS they've ever made now, or I'm going to just carry on using 7.

"Task view" is the new button on the taskbar.

"When you click task view it launches."

Revolutionary!

Joking aside, it actually looks pretty good. Especially if you have a large monitor.

It's just a name, what happened? did everyone run out of things to hang shit on MS for?

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

As long as they don't start jumping numbers backwards like the next one after being 9, I think I'm okay with it. To me it certainly fits the theme of One such as the xbox, but without confusing the public too much. Totally didn't see this coming though.

Well it makes sense, considering Windows 8.1 was essentially its own version of windows. The difference being about the same as that of Vista and 7.

Look everybody, Start menu!

See?

Yes I can see:

Liking the new features but got to agree they are very similar to OS X. Which doesn't really bother me. I will run the beta as soon as I can download it.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of right side buttons, control panel, network, run...? If all we're getting are links to our programs then what's the additional functionality over Win8 start or even just pinning your programs to the task bar.
