Location Of PC

My laptop is currently on the desk. When I upgrade I will either make a desk mount that should fit an smaller microATX case like the Fractal Design Define Mini or Corsair Carbide Air 240.

 

I'm doing that to save desk space, because I want workspace and I don't want to have my monitors elevated by much.

Get a heavy duty rope, and ceiling, and case. I'm sure if the ceiling can hold a chandelier it can hold a pc

Right now I have a laptop, so desk.

However my PC tower sits on the floor.

My next PC will definitely sit on a desk..but it'll be much, much smaller than my tower.

I don't get building a sweet, windowed computer just to have it sit on the floor.

Also not good as it attracts dust

my computers are everywhere: 3 laptops on the desk, main rig under my desk (my desk has one of those gaps to put your computer in) two hidden in a corner, 4 in the clouset.

Mines on the floor on a sheet of MDF to prevent too much dust getting in.

I want it to be on my desk soon though once I've had a sort out.

Every PC with a window should sit on top of a desk, no matter if 350D or 900D So yeah, mine is on the desk. (unless of course you don't have the space, which would be sad )

Have mine on my desk for easy access, I clean mine regularly, just way easier than going under my desk.

My Phantom 530 is too big. Even on my huge ass desk. Maybe a smaller case and £50 spent on shiny cables would justify it.

I clean my computer almost daily keeping it on the desk.  I'd have to do it hourly if I kept it on the floor haha.  The front intake already gets a faint white fan outline on the filter in 1-2 hours

If I can see dust inside then it's too dirty for me. I keep my house as clean as possible without spending hours everyday dusting. I've also got a dog and usually open windows

Only newbs would willingly put their PC on the floor.
