Titles says it all.Can't buy glock because here that costs around 2000$.Need it for home/personal defense.Don't know if revolver is a best choice or what.

To OP. No clue, I live in the UK so I don't know about buying guns, and personally I would have thought they cost more than $500, but that's a lack of knowledge on my behalf.

I think that would be good for home defence as the round is cheap and powerful but doesn't have much penetrating power so it seems like a good choice.

New guns are like new cars, mostly very expensive unless you are looking for garbage.

Guns are cheap as chips in america, For a really good like top of the range 1911 it costs about $1300 i think
