First thought: why doesn't it have front view camera too?

Second thought: why is there no optional communication device?

3rd thought why not use google glass...? Only add a rear view camera to the helmet. (this will be the "getto" solution)

Just a sec I need to charge my helmet. I'd like to know what the battery life is like on one of these. 

Edit: battery life is 9 hrs, however it does use micro usb...

The helmet costs $1,600. No thanks! I rather use that money to mod/upgrade my street bike.

Because this has so much more to it than "just" a HUD. If you look at the testimonials video they did you'll notice most of the people saying this HUD doesn't intrude in your view. It's there when you need it, but when you don't you don't notice it.

2. There is, there are speakers inside the helmet and you can answer your phone so I'm guessing it has a built in microphone as well.

 

OT: I've been following this for quite some time now and I even applied to the BETA but unfortunately didn't get an invite. I would absolutely LOVE to have one of these but right now my focus is on getting A. a different bike and B. completely new gear (as my current gear is extermely crappy)

I still have my bike, and considering applying to review it, but not sure if I care enough to drop $1500 on something that I'm VERY unlikely to be able to re-sell.

HOLY BALLS this looks amazing

 

Problem is, you drop all that money, drop your bike helmet like 1m onto the floor then have to buy a new helmet

 

 

I still have my bike, and considering applying to review it, but not sure if I care enough to drop $1500 on something that I'm VERY unlikely to be able to re-sell.
