Wholeheartedly disagree as will many others. A thread about what type of porn you prefer is flat out tasteless.

 

hardly, its was ALL about our tastes.. and exactly what flavors we enjoyed and different things to spice it up...

yea, we might as well be in a dictatorship, but you were not promised anything else except that on this forum if you read the CoC

 

this isn't the place for that, you can have your freedom elsewhere on the internet, not on here.

With that attitude, that "only what we say is ok is allowed" then you will end up in a hellhole of immature threads by 12 year old trolls, because eventually the rest of us will get tired of only talking about 1 single thing. There's absolutely no reason for deleting "adult" threads, we in no way violated the CoC as it stands verbatim

 

Off topic is supposed to be about freedom, if we can't have it them you might as well just delete the entire off topic section

I think the porn thread was an immature thread by a 12yr old troll if I'm honest.

I'm sure you say that cause of those 3 warning point those are for not loking my computer when I get back drunk and this thread was seriously to get rid of our barrier and talk freely

1. Off topic is SPECIFICALLY NOT ABOUT TECHNOLOGY (really getting tired of having to say that)

2. This is the internet, 40% of all internet traffic IS pornography.

3. Everything is appropriate when you say "off topic" that has been the motto of every single forum I've ever been on, that off topic is completely and totally unmoderated, because it's OFF TOPIC

in the begining I wasn't planning on putting +18 but after I was like: people will be offended so to protect my account I should put that. I actually think talking about sex shouldn't be limited to ''adult''

Off topic is supposed to be about off topic. Off topic is an umbrella term for anything, the fact that trashy threads are excluded doesn't make it any less off topic.

The exact opposite of what you s aid is true, that "only what we say is not ok is not allowed" leads to a hollhole of immature threads by 12 year old trolls, because we already have that problem.

A thread about your favorite porn is really crude content, it has no place here even in off topic. It doesn't have to violate CoC, the CoC is a guideline and is not all inclusive, it is up to the moderators judgement and it was the right call.

If that's the type of garbage content we're going to have and I can't filter it out of my recent topics feed, I might as well take my leave.
